My love affair with Derbyshire began in the mid 1970s when I met and married a Derbyshire man and moved across the Pennines from my native Lancashire.

What a wonderful county it is! With its rolling hills, meandering rivers and Peaks, its magnificent properties and estates and its fascinating history at the heart of the industrial era providing a rich collection of mills, railways and canals......my ‘Derbyshire Folk’ are never short of places to visit!

June, Eric and Kevin give me a great excuse to get out and about enjoying this beautiful county whilst seeking inspiration for new designs. It is certainly not a difficult task. Around every corner, every hilltop and river bank, every village and town I find a view or a piece of history which inspires. Without a doubt June, Eric and Kevin (and not forgetting Mittens the cat and Hovis the dog!) will have fun in store for many years to come!
